It's My Birthday so I'm having a Giveaway!

It's my birthday today.

I try to let this day pass by quietly because I don't like to be reminded that I'm another years older, especially now I'm moving through the 30 something bracket...

But they do say you are only as old as you feel and act, so I'm determined to feel young at heart for yet another year. And what better way to do that than to celebrate it positively and share the joy of the occasion with family, friends and extend that celebration virtually to you, my readers?

That is why I've decided to host this giveaway to celebrate my birthday - and the best thing is, it's open to all readers, so all you international readers can get in on the act this time!

  1. Firstly, Happy happy birthday. I hope your day is full of laughter and love.

My most memorable birthday was when we went to the park for a picnic and a swan waddled over and stole a piece of cake off a plate. I was about 22 and it was truly hilarious. The worst bit was that it then started pooping everywhere.

  2. My most memorable birthday was when my partner took me to Tiffany to buy me a birthday present (he let me pick the present because he was to afraid that I wouldn't like his pick ... oh so sweet). In addition to that, he surprised me with a trip for two to Sydney for that birthday weekend. It was supposed to be a surprise, but he got busted a few weeks before when a friend slipped out about the plan. Haha!

AND (sorry but I just couldn't resist), my second most memorable birthday is when my partner took me to India & on the night of my birthday, we went to the rooftop of his family's house (flat roof) & we lighted up fireworks :) It was simple, but so memorable.

  3. Well, first of all I would just like to greet you a Happie Birthday. I hope you had a really good one! ^o^

My most memorable birthday was when I was 10 which happen back in the Philippines. My mum sat up a surprised birthday party for me and my dad who worked in Brunie at that time came home just for my birthday! All of my family members were there and had a big family dinner. My boy cousins sang a song to me. They were all off pitch which made me crack up so hard! It was really funny and chaotic at the same time! XD This was really memorable as my dad came home just for my birthday and all of my family were there. I felt very special! :D

  6. Happy Birthday, every birthday should be celebrated no matter the age!

Like you now, I used to always keep my birthdays on the down low, my 21st was the only time I really celebrated since I was a kid. On the night before, I was actually at uni trying to do an assignment and every now and then, counting down the minutes till midnight. I lost track of time and went to the bathroom. When I came back, it was 12:02 so I had spent my birthday moment on the toilet :(

The following weekend, I did get to have a proper celebration though, my first in almost 10 years so it was pretty amazing

  12. One birthday years ago, I was all dressed up and walking on the street to meet friends for dinner. My scarf got stuck to the handle of a bike which was cycling past me. The cyclist, a very handsome dude stopped, carefully untangled my scarf from his cycle, walked up to me, handed over my scarf and apologised. We exchanged one of those movie love at first sight looks! He was a perfect gentleman, just smiled and said "you're pretty" and cycled away! The story was a hoot with my friends that night :D
